What does it mean by Big and Tall Shirts?

After three years of selling T Shirts at wholesale prices, this is what I think. There are four types.

1. Big - These are plus size shirts that go from 2XL to as high as 10XL. They may not have extra long length.
2. TALL - These may even be a small shirts, but length of the Shirt could be as long as 35-36 inches. This is the length of shirt that would be found in at least a 2XL. I have been asked a length of 40 inches for an XL shirt where the customer is really thin but very tall. We carry shirts in XL upto 37 inches length only. We made tall shirts in sizes small to XL.
3. BIG and TALL - These are shirts that are both big and tall. Big means the sizes are from 2XL to 10 XL and length could be about 3-5 inches longer than regular shirts.
4. URBAN TALL - These are the Hip Hop shirts that are around for some years and kids wear them where length of the shirts is close to knee length. However, many manufacturers do not follow the standard when it comes to chest width. So a 6XL may have a chest width of only 4XL. The customers should always check the measurements before they buy Urban shirts to make sure, they will not get the merchandise that would not fit on the chest.
